Kansas Speedway, Seats3D gives race fans virtual seat map

KANSAS CITY, Kan. (Sept. 13, 2002) – Kansas Speedway has some of the best sightlines in motorsports and now we have the technology to prove it.

Kansas Speedway and Ballena Technologies have worked together to provide interactive seat views of "The Track That Will Blow You Away!" on www.kansasspeedway.com via Seats3D, an interactive three-dimensional seating map. The seating map allows Kansas Speedway race fans to experience a
full panoramic seat view and preview of tickets offered for sale.

Seats3D allows customers to interact with high resolution, three-dimensional images on the track's Web site, www.kansasspeedway.com, with excellent visual clarity and virtually no download time. No software plug-in is required. Seat section panoramas place race guests inside Kansas Speedway, enabling them to purchase race tickets more confidently. Ballena's unique technology improves the on-line ticketing experience for race fans.

"This is another example of Kansas Speedway's innovation and cutting-edge technology," speedway President Jeff Boerger said. "Not only can fans purchase seats through our secured Web site, but now they can see exactly where they'll be sitting on race day before they even head to the track. We have always been proud of our sightlines at Kansas Speedway and Ballena Technologies has captured those sightlines for all our race fans to experience."

Kansas Speedway is the latest International Speedway Corporation-owned venue to offer its fans the convenience of Ballena's Seats3D product. Some of Ballena's existing ISC customers include Daytona International Speedway, California Speedway, Phoenix International Raceway, Talladega Superspeedway and Michigan International Speedway. Other Ballena Technologies clients include franchises in the NBA and NFL, and some Division I universities.

"We are pleased to add the beautiful new Kansas Speedway to our list of entertainment venues utilizing Seats3D," said Richard H. Sherratt, CEO of Ballena Technologies. "With the addition of our eighth track
for International Speedway Corporation, it demonstrates the proven benefit of our Seats3D product."
With the new technology in place, race fans can use Seats3D when purchasing race tickets for 2003.

Kansas Speedway Corporation is a wholly-owned subsidiary of International Speedway Corporation (ISC) (Nasdaq/NM: ISCA; OTC Bulletin Board: ISCB), a leading promoter of motorsports activities in the United States.
