Wolves’ Website Offers On-line Tour Of Target Center Seating
The Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx announced the organization has partnered with Ballena Technologies, Inc., to offer fans on-line 3D visualizations of Target Center on the NBA team's timberwolves.com website. By entering the virtual tour, website users can see what the view is like from virtually any seat in the arena. The virtual tour, designed to aid patrons in the ticket buying process, includes overhead views, seat section panoramas, and will soon include luxury suite overviews, Club CAMBRIA overviews and interior spins. "We are excited to take advantage of this new technology," said Timberwolves vice president of communications Ted Johnson. "We believe this will be a great tool for our fans in that they can see sightlines from their seats before purchasing tickets."
Ballena created a Seats3D Branded Team web page for the Timberwolves and Lynx which visitors can access through each individual home page on timberwolves.com. The pages have their own URL; a branded overhead navigation page, with links to seat views, luxury suite tours, and Club CAMBRIA tours.
The branded team web pages include a page with a Target Center overhead navigation and seat section panoramas. High-resolution seat views (also referred to as panoramas) are displayed from seating sections throughout the Target Center. Seat sections views are typically 180-degree panoramic images.
