Ballena Technologies Launches Interactive Seats3D Product at Talladega Superspeedway

TALLADEGA IS THE SIXTH INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY CORPORATION-OWNED FACILITY TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE INNOVATIVE TOOL.

ALAMEDA, Calif., August 19th, 2002 – Ballena Technologies has signed an agreement with International Speedway Corporation to provide interactive seat views of Talladega Superspeedway on www.talladegasuperspeedway.com. Seats3D is an interactive 3D seating map that enables race fans to experience a full panoramic seat view preview of tickets offered for sale. Talladega Superspeedway is the latest in a growing list of major venues to offer the Ballena Technologies’ powered service to their fans.

Ballena Technologies, (www.seats3d.com), is the market leader in event venue 3D visualization for the Internet. Utilizing unique technology, Ballena allows customers to interact with high resolution 3D images on the Internet with excellent visual clarity and virtually no download time. No software plug-in is required. Navigational overhead views and seat section panoramas place potential customers inside a facility, and positions them to purchase tickets. Ballena’s unique technology improves the on-line ticketing experience, creates excitement for an event, and boosts sales revenue.

"We're excited about this latest feature on our website," said Larry Allen, Talladega Superspeedway's director of ticketing. "Fans who are interested in purchasing tickets to any Talladega Superspeedway event will be able to log online, go to our website and get a virtual view of what the track will look like from their seats. Then they can purchase their tickets through our secured web site. This is truly a state-of-the-art feature."

Talladega Superspeedway is the latest large entertainment venue to offer its fans the convenience of Ballena’s Seats3D product. Ballena’s existing ISC customers include Daytona International Speedway, Michigan International Speedway, California Speedway, Phoenix International Raceway and North Carolina Speedway. Other Ballena Technologies clients include the Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots, and the Houston Texans of the NFL, the Memphis Grizzlies of the NBA, the San Diego Padres of MLB, as well as several Division 1 universities.

“Talladega is one of the great speedways in the world and our technology allows race fans a visual experience in addition to viewing their seat location”, said Richard H. Sherratt, CEO of Ballena Technologies. Sherratt added, “The Ballena Technologies family enjoys the opportunity to offer the world class ISC race tracks to fans all over the world”.
